Welcome to the Regional Nominations form for the World Rabies Day 2020 awards. 

This awards category is relevant to Organisations working in the following regions: PARACON, ARACON, MERACON and Europe/Americas.

The Europe/Americas is a joint category and will thus accept any organisation’s nomination active in either of these areas.

Only governments or NGOs/charities registered in the country where they work are eligible.
If the organisation is a NGO/charity, please confirm that it is registered in the country where rabies work is being conducted

How many people and animals (if known) live in the community or communities that are benefiting from the nominee’s work?
How long has the nominee been working in the field of rabies? (You may mention dates for different programs over time if relevant)
Please outline up to 3 projects/programs implemented by the nominee to prevent rabies in the community and the impact that these programs have had for the community (800-word max)
Publications and reports Please attach any relevant project reports/publications that you would like to share with the Awards judging panel.
