National Food Agency of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia joins the initiative zero human dog-mediated rabies deaths by 2030
The National Food Agency conducts a massive vaccination campaign and educational activities every year to eradicate rabies in the country. Since 2013, World Rabies Day has been celebrated every year with various activities: vaccinations in district centres, educational visits to schools, TV and radio broadcasts, etc.
Free vaccination of dogs and cats and informational and educational activities are also planned for 2021. Activities will be held in all major cities (11) of Georgia and several sites will be selected from capital city - Tbilisi
