As part of our efforts to increase awareness and knowledge about rabies, Bavarian Nordic is actively partnering with the Global Alliance for Rabies Control (GARC) to celebrate World Rabies Day today on September 28. This day of observance began in 2007 to raise awareness about rabies and bring together partners to enhance prevention and control efforts worldwide.
The entire Bavarian Nordic medical team has gathered in Copenhagen today on #worldrabiesday.
On this occasion, we are also running a digital campaign featuring a set of educational videos on corporate social media profiles (LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter) developed to motivate travelers to Asia, Africa and Caribbean to speak to their doctors about pre-travel protection against rabies (PrEP):
