The celebration of WRD will take place in Praca da Juventude in Maputo city, capital of Mozambique. The activities foreseen are:
- there will be gathering of school children and adults
- Veterinarians from Veterinary Services and Veterinary Faculty will do the sensitization of School children
- There will be an exhibition of Drama on Rabies
- Demonstration of dog capture and handling from professionals on this matter
- Live music
- The school children will do the painting of rabies booklets
- The best paintings will be awarded
- The highest momentum will be the speech that will be given by the Governor of Maputo;
- There are banners and posters already produced
We expect to gather more that a 1000 people in the event
Similar event will also take place in all 10 provinces of the country (Mozambique)
