Addressing NSS students to commemorate World Rabies Day

To commemorate #worldrabiesday, we recently organized an online session on 26th September with National Service Scheme (NSS) students of two Delhi University colleges i.e. Delhi College of Arts & Commerce and Bharati College.

88 participants attended the session and were sensitized on rabies elimination, dog population management and the role of youth in ensuring better lives for dogs. They were also provided guidance on administrative mechanisms available to resolve any issues or conflicts relating to pets or stray dogs.

The theme of the 14th World Rabies Day is “End Rabies: Collaborate, Vaccinate”. It is a day to inform and educate people on the need for collective action to eradicate rabies and achieve zero deaths by 2030.

Thanks to our volunteers for spreading the word and making difference in the lives of animals. Every voice matters..
