Elementary Rabies Education Program is SAR's routine activity to sharing rabies prevention messages. This program was developed to support Central and Local Government of Indonesia on rabies prevention and control program through rabies public awareness, particularly in children. Our goals is to eliminate deaths from canine rabies in Indonesia through public knowledge improvement on rabies prevention, dog bite case management, animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.
In order to celebrate 2018 World Rabies Day in Sumedang District - West Java Province, West Java Provincial Animal Health Services in collaboration with Sumedang District Animal Health Services, Study Program of Veterinary Medicine - University of Padjadjaran and SAR conducted a rabies education program for more than 120 students in Cikuda Elementary School.
