Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) of Bangladesh Agricultural University celebrated the 'World Rabies Day 2021' through organizing "Free Rabies Vaccination for Dogs and Cats & Awareness Campaign" on 28 September 2021 at the hospital premises. Prof. Dr. Lutful Hassan, the honourable Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh Agricultural University inaugurated the program as the Chief Guest, and Prof. Dr. Md. Mokbul Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Science was present as special guest. Prof. Dr. Md. Taohidul Islam, Director of VTH coordinated the program. The faculties, veterinary students, pet owners and media personnel attended the event.
The program was dedicated to the World Rabies Day on September 28, 2021.
The event took place on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, from 10 am to 2 pm.
