The Puerto Rico Department of Health and collaborators unite to celebrate World Rabies Day with a Massive Rabies Vaccination for Pets Event in Ponce. During this event, we will have available 1,000 rabies shots to vaccinate dogs and cats free of charge, thanks to donations received by Veterinarians for Puerto Rico. Also during this event, we will provide Rabies Facts and Educational Brochures with the purpose to keep educating about this preventible disease in accordance to this year slogan Rabies Facts: Not Fear.
This event is possible with the collaboration of the Medical Science Campus of the University of Puerto Rico, College of Veterinary Physicians, Movimiento Social Pro-Bienestar Animal (MOSPBA), Veterinarians for Puerto Rico Organization, Ana G. Mendez University and the City of Ponce.
