On the 22nd of September at 2 pm, a World Rabies Day Campaign will be held at the Nice International Veterinary Hospital, Wuhan, P.R.China. Boehringer-Ingelheim will donate 100 rabies vaccines which will be administered to the first 100 dogs and cats coming at the campaign site.
A fundraiser event will be also held to raise money for the creation of a "Wuhan Pet Fund' that will cover full vaccination package and deworming treatments to the pets of those owners that can't afford to pay for the veterinary care of their animals. During the fundraiser activity, a silent auction will be held and different items will be sold including 100 books of the series "Matteo in Doggy's World: how dogs show their mood". Different educational activities for parents and children relating to rabies prevention and responsible pet ownership will be carried out during the event.
The Wuhan 6 TV and the Wuhan TV station children's channel will be filming the campaign activities, while Wuhan Social App and Changjiang Weekly will cover the event for social media and newspaper, respectively. During the event, speakers ranging from researchers to hospital doctors, from parents to teachers, from university student associations to local shelter representative, and children will deliver speeches on the role that each of these people has in the fight against rabies.
During the closing ceremony, a group of children from the "Star of Outlook" volunteer group will perform the song "You'll be in my heart' by Phil Collins.

另外还将为创建“武汉宠物基金”举办一次筹款活动，来给那些无力支付兽医护理费用的宠物提供全套的疫苗接种和驱虫治疗。募捐活动期间，我们将举行一场无声慈善拍卖，并出售不同的物品，其中包括100本《马泰奥在多吉的世界：狗狗们如何表达情绪》系列丛书。活动期间，活动方会为家长及儿童举办不同的教育活动，内容涉及狂犬病预防及教授孩子们如何做一个负责任的主人。
武汉6台和武汉电视台儿童频道将分别对该活动进行拍摄；武汉社交应用宝和长江日报将分别向社会媒体和报纸报道该活动。在活动期间，发言者囊括研究人员到医院医生、从家长到教师、从大学生协会到当地住房代表不等。
孩子们将会听到这些不同角色关于狂犬病斗争的演讲。闭幕式上，来自“希望之星”义工团的孩子们将为所有来宾演唱菲尔·柯林斯的歌曲“你将在我的心中”。
