College of Veterinary Science, Assam Agricultural University, Khanapara, Guwahati, Assam is going to celebrate "World Rabies Day-2021" with the theme “Rabies: Facts, not Fear”on 28 September,2021.
The following programmes are being organised by Department of Veterinary Microbiology in collaboration with NCDC in the College Campus:
Event 1) Free anti-rabies vaccination at Teaching Veterinary Clinical Complex, CVSc, AAU, Khanapara
Time: 10:30 AM onwards
Event 2) Poster/Banner campaign to create awareness against rabies
Time: 11:00 AM onwards
A Quiz competition will be organised by the Department of Veterinary Medicine, CVSc, AAU, Khanapara for final year BVSc. & AH students on this occasion. Prizes will be given for 1st,2nd & 3rd position holders. The event is partly supported by Ancalima lifesciences ltd. A leading pharmaceutical company.
