Diódoro Batalla-Campero

Dr. Batalla has been the promoter of the issue of rabies in the different positions he has occupied, participated in International Scientific Committee of Rabies by Mexico and being in charge of National Animal Health Center was part of the Regional Plan for Control of Rabies in North America focused on effective control and over time eliminate variants of the terrestrial rabies virus in Canada, Mexico and the United States.

Dr. Batalla has given more than 150 conferences on the subject of rabies in Mexico, the United States of North America, Canada, Central and South America published in their respective proceedings, always focused on sensitizing the veterinarian guild about the importance of rabies from the point of public health, diagnosis and impact on national and global livestock. He is the author of 45 scientific publications of refereed journals in our country and abroad, nine chapters in books, editor of a book and has directed 17 theses.
