Amrit Pandey has been involved in IVSA Nepal activities since he became a veterinary student. The team conducts a weekly vaccination and sterilisation programme, along with awareness for communities in the Bharatpur and Rampur areas. This programme has been running for the last 4 years. The team also runs campaigns around World Rabies Day.
IVSA Nepal collaborates with NGOs and the veterinary teaching hospital for vaccination and awareness, with a focus on school students. Over 2,000 dogs have been vaccinated so far, both owned and street dogs. The team targets areas of poverty and illiteracy, where there are higher dog populations.
