June 2014-SAS with puppy

Each year thanks to Sarah's work, The BIG FIX Uganda holds vaccination sites at over 100 locations in Northern Uganda. These locations are presently in Gulu, Omoro, and Amuru Districts and she holds clinics in each sub-county of each district at least once per year.

The programs she has developed and implements include: rabies education and prevention programs in the schools, use of a team of field educators to educate people one-on-one in the villages about the importance of vaccination and spay/neuter, production of a twice-monthly one-hour long radio talk show which regularly discusses rabies prevention and education, administration of the region's only veterinary hospital which provides vaccinations daily. Since she began her programs in Uganda, over 50,000 rabies vaccinations have been administered.
