Protect Me focuses on education of the community, particularly to encourage vaccination of their animals. It also works on catch-sterilise-vaccinate-release programmes, and is lobbying the government for a law for all stray animals to get the rabies vaccine.
Protect Me has been responsible for rabies prevention in a lot of cities. The organisation ensures that every stray animal encountered is given at least the rabies vaccine. The organisation has also managed to get the government to provide funds for rabies prevention, not just for dogs and cats, but also for wildlife rabies.
