Santa Cruz staff

Santa Cruz de la Sierra is divided into four health network areas and within these networks there are 56 health centers for primary health care. 

The Municipal Health Authority is responsible for the management of the network , and the 56 health centers, covering the health of the 2 million+ inhabitants.

The Municipal Health Authority has worked for 10 years to control canine rabies. The objective of the Gobierno Autónomo Municipal Santa Cruz de la Sierra is to be the first municipality in Bolivia to be free of canine rabies, before 2020.
