Sneha's Care has been working in the field of rabies since 2014. It was the first organisation in Nepal that organised Night Rabies programs so that the dogs would be easily found in the street. It works closely with local governments and communities to improve animal welfare and control rabies in Kathmandu Valley. More than 10,000 dogs have been vaccinated against rabies in Kathmandu & Lalitpur District.

Sneha’s Care also campaigns to introduce animal welfare law in Nepal for improved safeguards for animals and penalties for animal abuse and cruelty. It is also actively spreading animal welfare awareness on a national scale and educating the public to be compassionate to all nonhumans.
