UPDATE:
WORLD RABIES DAY IN UGANDA! 832 dogs and 19 cats were vaccinated and dewormed by The BIG FIX Uganda on WRD 2021 at Pabbo and Jengari in Amuru District. A total of 34 spay/neuter surgeries were performed at the Pabbo Town Council site.
Congratulations to the amazing BIG FIX team for this huge accomplishment and much appreciation to all of Amuru District’s great dog guardians and to the Amuru District Veterinary Officer and his team. We are especially grateful to our friends and supporters, who make this work possible.

The BIG FIX Uganda will again be providing free rabies vaccinations and de-worming in Amuru District in honor of World Rabies Day 2021. The vaccinations will be provided at 2 locations: Pabbo Town Council and Jengari. We will also provide spay/neuter surgeries at Pabbo Town Council on a first-come, first-served basis. BIG FIX Field Educators will also be on hand at both sites to assist dog guardians with any dog care questions and grooming and washing can be done by guardians at both sites.
All attendees are asked to ensure that they have a safe neck restraint for their dogs: no wire or chains please as these can injure your beloved dogs. Please come wearing a mask covering your nose and mouth and help us by abiding by all COVID protocols in place so we can all stay healthy and safe.
