A Rabies awareness programme was arranged by the PPEC High School Sadashiv Nagar Bengaluru on 15th sept 2018. The programme was attended by more than 100 students, staff and teaching faculty members. The meeting was presided by Mr. K.Naga Raja the principal
Dr. N.L. Gangadhar, Senior scientist zoonosis spoke on the infectious nature of Rabies, its mode of spread, and the role played by stray dogs as potential carriers of rabies. The talk assumed significance in the background of the reported number of recent stray dog attacks on children as reported in the press.
