The Province of Iloilo is located in Western Visayas Philippines. The Iloilo Provincial Government spearheaded by the Provincial Health Office and Provincial Veterinary Office will be celebrating the World Rabies Day Celebration in partnership with the Municipality of San Dionisio, Iloilo as the host LGU for this year's activity.
It is a 1-day activity with an Advocacy Program to be attended by the all Punong Barangays or community leaders in the said locality, followed by a Dog Walk Costume Parade entitled, "PAWSHIONISTA- a Dog Walk Costume Contest". The contest is participated with 15 entries.
Simultaneous to the said activities is the conduct of dog vaccination, spaying and neutering services of the Provincial Veterinary Office and Municipal Agriculture Office.
