Information and education at the borders of Ilocos Norte

The beginnings of a new Rabies Epidemiological bulletin for Africa

Initial data from the country reports submitted to the Pan-African Rabies Control Network (PARACON) meeting in June have been made available on the PARACON website as a precursor to a more detailed online epidemiological bulletin for Sub-Saharan Africa.

The Rabies Educator Certificate takes off

The Rabies Educator Certificate was developed as a free online course to effectively disseminate accurate, life-saving information regarding rabies to at-risk communities throughout the world. In order to make the REC more accessible, French and Spanish versions of the online course have also been officially launched.

Inaugural Pan-African Rabies Control Network (PARACON) meeting

The first PARACON meeting took place in Gauteng, South Africa in 9-11 June 2015. The meeting was executed in the form of an intensive, 3-day workshop, and delegates from 33 African countries attended as official representatives for their countries.
