Guidelines on leaving a legacy to GARC
If you have any questions, please get in touch.
You can make an outright gift to the Global Alliance for Rabies Control stated as a specific financial amount or a specific asset - securities, estate or tangible personal property.
Through this form of donation, GARC receives all or a percentage of the remainder of your estate after all other provisions of your will have been fulfilled and all estate-related expenses paid.
You can name GARC to receive a donation but only in the event of the death of other named beneficiaries. By naming GARC as a contingent beneficiary, you can guarantee that your loved ones are cared for first while and that your charitable wishes are honored if there are sufficient assets to do so.
Should I leave conditions on the donation?
It is generally best to make the donation as general as possible to ensure that GARC will be able to use your donation where it is most needed at that time. If you have a more specific purpose in mind, please contact us before finalizing the donation.
Should I tell you about my donation?
There is no requirement to notify us but, if you do, we can thank you during your lifetime.
What language should I use to include GARC in my will?
