Rabies is a serious public health threat in more than 150 countries around the world. Rabies control initiatives need to be improved in a sustainable manner in which the communities are encouraged to take action and combat this terrible zoonotic disease. A one health-based approach is important for a successful and sustainable intervention.

IVSA SCOH together with the Global Alliance for Rabies Control (GARC) proudly presents a rabies global advocacy and awareness webinar under the theme: 'Facts about rabies: Global outlook, local outreach'.

The webinar will be consist of three interesting topics such as: how we can boost community-led programs for rabies elimination; the science behind rabies control and elimination; and the importance of understanding proper animal handling techniques. We will discuss these topics with internationally recognized speakers with global experience! Please stay tuned on our social media to find out who they are.
