Earlier in the month, we shared with you a piece about Dr. Macugay of Mariano Marcos State University.

We heard from Dr. Macugay again recently who shared with us some pictures of an event held by some of her students (who have completed the Rabies Educator Certificate) at Parangopong Elementary School.

102 students from grades 1-6 took part in a rabies awareness day at the school. The children listened to stories, quizzes, and role play (“It was such a great and splendid performance.”).

Here you can see pictures of the children with their certificates for taking part

If you’re interested in improving your rabies knowledge so you can share life-saving information with your community, the Rabies Educator Certificate is a free course which you can access here

If you're an REC graduate, we'd love to see pictures from your activities too - please do share them with us!
