New MOOC on One Health

A new Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC), entitled “One Health: Connecting Humans, Animals and the Environment” will begin on November 7th. It has been designed by the University of Basel in Switzerland  and will be led by Prof. Jakob Zinsstag, Prof. Esther Schelling and Prof. Bassirou Bonfoh The course will explore the One Health approach and its value, answering questions such as: What are the many advantages of a closer cooperation between human and animal health? and What transdisciplinary processes can be set up to solve a particular One Health problem efficiently?

The course will require approximately 5 hours of work a week for 6 weeks. Registration is free for participants and once registered the course content can be accessed indefinitely. Personalised certificates are also provided for a fee, which includes transcripts and feedback from tutors.
