On September 24, the 2023 World Rabies Day National Event was hosted by the Hualien County Government on Sunrise Avenue in Hualien City. The congressman Mr. Kun-Chi Fu, Dr. Wenzhen Tu, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture; Dr. Rongbin Xu, the Deputy Director-General of the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Agency (APHIA); officers of the central and local governments, and chairpersons of relevant civil organizations, initiated this activity together. Activities included free rabies vaccination, a pet parent-child music and life market, and an open-air cinema… etc. were organized.
