The Canadian Animal Health Institute (CAHI) is continuing its tradition of hosting a Webinar in honour of World Rabies Day. This year our webinar theme is "Breaking Rabies Boundaries" and we will be featuring an engaging speaker lineup to raise awareness and highlight the important work being done on rabies prevention and control across boundaries, both national and provincial.
Presentations will include important updates on:
- New US CDC requirements for dogs travelling to the US
- The work that Ontario’s Ministry of Natural Resources is doing in managing rabies in Ontario and at the Ontario-New York State border
- An update from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency on rabies cases in Canada and current rabies diagnostic tools
