1) AfricaPHSN World Rabies Day Webinar
This event will feature at least two guest speakers from both AfricaPHSN and GARC.
Theme: One Health and Rabies Eradication in Africa
Topic: Individual and Community level Contributions to meet the “Zero by 30” Goal.
This in line with this year's theme "One health, Zero deaths". Each presentation will last for 25 minutes. A Q &A session will occupy the last 10 minutes of the event as conclusion.
2) Vaccinate your dog challenge
This will be an online graphics campaign that people can join using hashtag on any social media (#vaccinateyourdogchallenge2022 #AfricaPHSNrabieschallenge #APHSN2022). The campaign will start on 20th of September with active publicity. The aim is to encourage pet owners make posts about vaccinating their pets in anticipation of the world rabies day and therefore create awareness about rabies vaccination.
3) Educational Video on Rabies
A short well researched educational video about Rabies made by the executives of AfricaPHSN will also be released on the world rabies day.
