The Zoonotic Disease Unit in collaboration with Kenya Veterinary Association, World Animal Protection and Sharon Live On Foundation have organized a 10 Kilometer run for rabies in Kisumu County. The marathon will start at 7.00 a.m at the Jomo Kenyatta Sports Ground in Kisumu. Thereafter, there shall be field vaccination of animals against rabies.The run aims at creating awareness about rabies in the country. All are welcome to participate for the Marathon, come run towards a rabies free Kenya.
