The event aims to follow the “One health” concept and it was designed to be inclusive, uniting people, organizations, and stakeholders across all sectors against rabies.

Main message: Mass dog vaccinations and public awareness – key to breaking cycle of transmission

Foreseen activities:       

Private veterinary clinics will be invited to provide free vaccination against rabies and promote one health approach and importance of the veterinary services.    

Radio Program to raise awareness on the Rabies Day and provide information on what Rabies is about? How it is trasmitted? How to Prevent? Vaccination Campaigns organised and communication with public.

Broadcasting of videos and messages relevant to rabies control and surveillance, one health concept and project activities.
