Celebrate World Rabies Day 2017
Lanna Dog in cooperation with the District Head of monks and Chiang Mai Livestock Office are celebrating WRD on September 30, 2017. This year, we celebrate the WRD at Sanpaliang Temple.
Temples are a traditional sanctuary for abandoned animals in Thailand, where monks take care of them.
Compassion or “Meta” is an important teaching in Buddhism.
This occasion is being used to celebrate the compassion shown in the temple and remind ourselves of the need for kindness and care towards animals as our fellow living creatures. We therefore provide mobile sterilization, health checks and rabies vaccination for temple and community animals.
