As part of our annual participation on World Rabies Day, this year, we, the St. Roch Animal Bite Center extended our program during this year's Rabies Awareness Month which includes conducting community education on schools, events, medical missions, and other activities to inform the locals on rabies with collaboration with the Department of Health, National Rabies Prevention and Control Program, Department of Education, different Local Government Units, and other public and private sectors. Along side with this, we also distribute IEC materials to schools, health centers animal clinics, and different public and private establishments for the public to access and read. We also provide free rabies prophylaxis to health care workers, vaccinators and animal handlers to help with the goal of attaining herd immunity amongst the public. This is in realization to this year's theme "Rabies: All for 1, One Health for All" and to contribute to the goal of ending rabies and raising awareness on the deadly virus.
