Rabies control and prevention involve several key actions. Understanding that rabies is a fatal disease transmitted through animal bites is crucial. To prevent transmission, avoid contact with wild or unfamiliar animals and ensure pets are vaccinated. Immediate steps if bitten include washing the wound and seeking medical help. Our aim is to spread awareness through various stakeholders, including local communities, healthcare providers, and educational institutions like Himachal Pradesh University. By engaging these groups, we aim to enhance public education, improve surveillance, and support effective legislation, while also promoting ongoing research into public policy matters for effective vaccination and sterilisation.
