Two lectures and medical students survey from 3rd year MBBS students and Problem based learning session 5 new vaccines like TRC- id 4 dose , Essen Regimen , Zaghrib Regimen and HDCV were discussed and Problem based learning hand out was distributed to 150 students 70 % girls and 30% boys and over 7 faculty Members staff and PGs attended these sessions .
It was recommended that rabies is neglected disease as per WHO list and Pakistan and Mayanmar ( Burma) should discontinue old Semple Vaccine and must and start supplying newer and effective aund safe and low cost vaccines Prof. Hussain Bux Kolachi along with his Team comprising Dr. Nudrat Zeba Shaikh , Suhail Ahmed Bijarani , Dr. Sajjad Ahmed Kazi, Dr. Ghulam Hussain Baloch in all 12 teaching hours were used to give updated information most of material was taken from Dr. Naseem Salahuddin article published in POLS Neglected Tropical Diseases and other sources.

About 97000 cases of rabies occur in Pakistan and 5000 people die and in Karachi city 30000 cases are reported on 50% dog bite cases receive Post exposure prophylaxis /vaccine.
