The events are organised in connection with the world rabies day. Dog mass vaccination and a symposium on public health issues with particular emphasis on rabies will be dealt with. Dr. N.L. Gangadhar Sr. Scientist zoonosis will speak on one health concept with focus on rabies.

Dr. Venugopal, Deputy Director, Dr. Shivasharanappa G. Yalagod , Secretary General of Karnataka Veterinary Association and Dr. Lokesh of the Association will participate in the deliberations.
About 150 Veterinary officers, Medical personnel, Municipal health authorities and general public are expected to participate.
