Mass awareness camps were organized among the school students and villagers of Shitalmari, Sonitpur and Gorhpal, Bishwanath District of Assam, India as a part of World Rabies Awareness Week, 2024, in collaboration with WWF, India and Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department, Sonitpur, Assam. Awareness talks, street plays and YouTube videos were utilized to spread awareness about rabies and it pre-exposure as well as post exposure prophylaxis among the masses.
