In Bangladesh, a One Health approach 'National Rabies Elimination Program' is functioning with 5 principal strategies across the country. The strategies are Advocacy, Communication and Social Mobilization (ACVM), Modern Animal Bite Management, Mass Dog Vaccination (MDV), Dog Population Management (DPM), and Surveillance and Research. In Southeast Asia, Bangladesh scored a SARE score of 2.5 (out of 5) in 2019 and taking steps forward to eliminate rabies by 2030.
