This year the "One Health" partners (Animal, Environment and Human sectors) planned celebrating the event in all 15 districts head quarter towns including Freetown.
The objective is to increase awareness on rabies and increase dog vaccination coverage nation wide by vaccinating ten thousand dogs.
The celebration will take the form of public education via the use of mass media (TV, Radio and print media coverage), community social mobilization and vaccination campaign.
Organization of symposium where animal and human health actors will deliver speeches and SKITS will be delivered by school pupils.
Key Note Address will be delivered by the Hon. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry.
