World Rabies Day is only a few weeks away! It is the first and only global advocacy, education, and awareness campaign for rabies. To date, it has reached over 150 million people with rabies prevention messages and re-initiated rabies prevention in many parts of the world.
This year, the theme, "Rabies: All for 1, One Health for All," emphasizes collaboration, equality, and the strengthening of health systems through the One Health approach.
In line with the Animal Bite Treatment Center and Public Health Unit’s commitment to support the global efforts of the Department of Health (DOH), World Health Organization (WHO), and the Global Alliance for Rabies Control (GARC) to eliminate rabies deaths by 2030, we are dedicated to commemorating World Rabies Day on September 28 every year.
