This is a One Health event organized by the Ministry of Health's Communicable Diseases Control Directorate (Eastern region) in collaboration with the One Health Unit of the Saudi Center for Disease Prevention and Control (SCDC). It targets include public health practitioners, Emergency room health care workers, veterinarians from Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA) and elsewhere, veterinary college faculty and students. It aims to raise awareness across all concerned sectors and disciplines emphasizing on the need to vaccinate to eliminate. It will also exploit opportunities to leverage support for the joint SCDC/MOH drive to give free pre-exposure prophylaxis to targeted at risk persons in the community in conjunction with other partners including MEWA, Saudi Wildlife Authority and the College of Veterinary Medicine, King Faisal University, Hofuf
