The event will feature free rabies vaccination of dogs in Bamishi Village in Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria.
Bamishi is a rural community of about 2,000 inhabitants. Dogs are kept as companions and also used for hunting.
There have been cases of dog bites before our arrival in the community.
We want to use the World Rabies Day 2022 to create awareness and educate the people about rabies prevention and control.
