Nowzad Veterinary Teams will be hosting a large education and outreach event at Kabul University for World Rabies Day 2024, to include students and teachers from the vet faculty and other departments, plus government officials and municipality staff. Info leaflets on rabies prevention will be distributed to all audiences, and teams will also put up posters on rabies at different squares around Kabul. Vets will be offering free rabies vaccinations on the 28th September to all owned dogs and cats brought to Nowzad’s hospital or through appointments at homes across the city.
