An interactive session on Rabies for the benefit of pet practitioners of Pune was arranged at Pune, Maharashtra, India.

Dr. N.L. Gangadhar, Senior Scientist Zoonosis provided the lead lecture on rabies, highlighting the global scenario of rabies, the role of the veterinary profession in control and elimination of rabies and underlined the important role played by the Global Alliance for Rabies Control in mission zero rabies by 2030
more than 50 vets engaged in pet practice participated. Dr. Nilekha Desai, Products Manager of Boehringer Ingelheim India chaired the session. Among the audience were Mr. Love Tuley, Marketing Manager of Boehringer Ingelheim India. Drs. Vinay Gohre, President of Pet Doctors'Association of Pune, PradnyaDhokarkar,Hatekar Miland, Puja Tulpule,Abhijit Wankhede, Khtre Tribhuvan, Milind Matre, Dhage, Baba saheb Kalapure all pet practitioners and executive committee members of the Association, number of professors and ex-Deans of Veterinary universities besides others. It was an elaborate, absorbing question and answer session that ensued. Dr. Maya compered and coordinated.
