
The Saudi Center for Disease Prevention and Control (SCDC), in collaboration with the General Directorate for Zoonotic and Vector borne diseases (MOH), will organize an online webinar on rabies featuring Dr. Charles Rupprecht on 07/10/2020 (15:45-17:45hrs). Using a One Health approach, we will be targeting primary health care and infectious disease clinicians, transplantation physicians, veterinary and public health epidemiologists, lab personnel (MOH,SCDC and Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture),Wildlife Health personnel, medical/veterinary students and animal rescuers. Other partners include King Faisal University, Public health - Second Health Cluster in Central Region and TabukPaws.

Additionally, the SCDC will organize rabies awareness activities targeting veterinary and medical students, interns and fellows. In partnership with animal rescuers like TabukPaws, the campaign will make use of social media channels such as Linkedin, Twitter and instagram, to deliver messages in Arabic & English.
