Mahila Atma Nirbharta Kendra in collaboration with FAIRMED under SIndhupalchowk Integrated Health Project is currently working in 6 rural/municipalities of Sindhupalchowk district. Neglected tropical diseases and Maternal newborn health are its major thematic areas. Under NTDs, we will be conducting awareness programs on rabies in health mother groups. Health mother groups are the primary source of information for women of reproductive age, their in-laws, and husbands in a rural part of Nepal. These health mother groups of 6 rural/municipalities in Sindhupalchowk district, Nepal will be given information regarding rabies, its symptoms, and prevention and control measures. They will be informed and spread this knowledge in their communities eventually.
