The Liberia Animal Welfare & Conservation Society (LAWCS) is an active player in rabies elimination efforts in Liberia. LAWCS is a two time GARC World Rabies Award winner. From September 27 to 28, LAWCS was involved in massive awareness in schools and communities along with free rabies vaccination exercise for over 500 dogs and cats.
