"Right now, we’ll focus on “End Rabies Now” due to an increase in social media cases where people have been bitten but have not informed their parents or family, which prevents them from receiving proper treatment or management because there is no treatment once you are positive for rabies."https://www.pia.gov.ph/jci-kagayhaan-gold-advocates-for-rabies-education-treatment/?fbclid=IwY2xjawE9-SpleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHdAtAJF-feTp0cyKOlo_XiZRc-Rs8TwccyVp_O7EmgS9V8hjth9FgD6lHw_aem_gxDCZUp1djivu0_tZ_xPXQ

The Tails of Hope Year 4: End Rabies Now program was a strategic initiative to combat rabies and promote animal welfare in Cagayan de Oro City, Northern Mindanao, and Brgy. Lumbia. This year’s program sought to achieve comprehensive rabies control through a robust network of 18 partner organizations committed to advancing animal welfare, responsible pet ownership, and effective rabies prevention strategies. The program focused on four main areas: Education and Awareness, Vaccination and Population Control, Community Engagement, and Policy Influence. By leveraging media outreach, expanding vaccination services, and fostering community involvement, the program aimed to drive significant improvements in public health and animal welfare.
