World Rabies Day Event 2021-Sri Lanka by Vets For Future

Our organization "Vets For Future  - Association of veterinarians for humane management of animal population control " is conducting a special event for International Rabies Day in this year as well. This time we have selected "Embilipitiya" a rural area in Rathnapura district for our World Rabies Day event. We are conducting a 1 day vaccination program , covering 12 vaccination centers to vaccinate 500 dogs, stray and owned. And to carry out 12 awareness programs ,one program for each center to talk to people in each division to explain the Rabies facts.

We are oorganizing this event together with Department of Health - Rathnapura district .

We are honored to say that Mr. Tikiri Kobbekaduwa, the Governor of Sabaragamu province attended our vaccination and awareness program on 28th September. A certificate of appreciation was given to the participants by the hands of Mr. Tikiri Kobbekaduwa. We also appreciate everyone who contributed to the World rabies day event and special thanks to the Department of Health-Rathnapura district for collaborating with us.
