West 1 Environmental Health Department integrating with communicable diseases ,Department of agriculture and rural development and department of health is planning to conduct two rabies campaign in ward 19 and ward 20 . Ward 19 campaign will take place at Wyebank Clinic on the 30th of September 2024 and ward 20 campaign will take place on the 2nd of October 2024 at Kwadabeka Community Health Centre. Both campaigns will be followed by vaccination session in the following areas ,Kwadabeka SAPS, Wyebank library and phephile primary sportfield ground. We have been receiving lot of dog bite cases in the area hence we decided to participate on Rabies month . Community participation will and Waroom meeting will assist in terms of mobilising the community and we are looking forward for a successful event .
