World Rabies day commemoration in the Northern Cape take on different roles in the different regions by attending sporting events, public vaccination and information sharing and an One Health Scientific Event.
The different events start on the last week of August with an vaccination and spay event in the West Coast region of the province, followed by an information sharing opportunity at the Namaqua Quest cycling and running event.
This is followed by a vaccination campaign from the 20th of September to the 28th of September in the rural communities in the Kuruman areas with a Scientific event on the 28th of September with the different health professionals in the region.
A Spay campaign will take place in the Kuruman communities on the 29th and 30th of September
