World Rabies Day in Kurdistan As part of joint work between Veterinary and health sector in Duhok province, we conducted a celebration of WRD, at 10:00 at the directorate of veterinary in Duhok province. The activity included a welcoming by Dr.Diyar Tayeb, the director of Veterinary, then a speech by Mr.Sha,aban Khelil the chairman of High committee of Public Health in Duhok province, followed by two presentation one by Dr.Shwan Ali on the activities related to controlling stray dogs, the other one was presented by Dr.Dimen Hussen, on the activities and statistics related to dog bit and rabies registered in the province .Many media facilities, NGOs , and guests attended this event .
